Cinema Nairn Presents Two Classics in Association with Nairn Book & Arts Festival 2014

Tuesday 3rd September at 9:00pm - Battleship Potemkin (Please note the time)
Nairn's own Andy May brings his trio to Cinema Nairn for the much lauded, classic Russian silent film telling the true tale of a 1905 naval mutiny and street riot in Odessa. The trio, who have individually played with artists such as Jack Bruce, Marianne Faithfull, The Proclaimers, Capercaillie among others, will improvise on themes written by Andy for the film. A one off must see opportunity.

Saturday morning, 7th September at 10:00am - Kid Brother
A silent film with Andy May performing live on the keyboard on the Saturday morning has become a regular and very popular feature of the festival. This year we present a classic Harold Lloyd western. Will Harold catch the thieves and win Mary's heart? A great film experience for the whole family
