Cinema Nairn's presentation of North Face (of the Eiger), followed by a Q&A

Continuing Cinema Nairn’s mountaineering themed films in November, North Face is a dramatization of the true story about the race to conquer the north face of the Eiger. Set in 1936, it’s the story of two reluctant German ‘heroes’ taking on the elements in what is a highly suspenseful film with dramatic cinematography.

After the film we will have a Q&A session with Mountaineer Clive Rowland from Nairn.  Clive has conquered many of the worlds most challenging peaks.  He will be able to tell us what happened in the aftermath of the attempt on the Eiger and answer your questions about the challenges they faced.
